But now the Google made image search results are live. Google announced in a blog post, “Starting this week, a new feature makes it easy to find quick facts about what you see on Google Images. When you search for an image on mobile in the U.S., you might see information from the Knowledge Graph related to the result. That information would include people, places, or things related to the image from the Knowledge Graph’s database of billions of facts, helping you explore the topic more.”

Right now this works for “people, places, and things in Google images. Google said, “It will expand to more images, languages and surfaces over time.”

Google added more facts about image knowledge panel

Before announcing about image knowledge panel lives, Google added new features within Google image search on mobile to show “quick facts about what you see on Google images.” In the image preview window knowledge panel, Google added details that can open and expand the tab to show you more information about the image.

Google said, “When you search for an image on mobile in the U.S., you might see information from the knowledge graph related to the result. That information would include people, places or things related to the image from the Knowledge Graph’s database of billions of facts, helping you explore the topic more.”

The image knowledge panel shows selected images that users search for. They provide you more information about context, related queries, location information, and other useful insights.

How Google image knowledge panel live work for you?

Since Google announced the Image knowledge panel is live, you all would be curious to know what information it can provide to you, right! Let’s take an example to understand this.
